Grüner Knopf

The standard is awarded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) to textile manufacturers who have passed certain social and ecological standards set by the Ministry. Known as ‘Green Button’ in English, the label can be displayed on garments at point of sale in Germany. Version 2.0 was launched in August 2022.
