The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) provides assurances that forests are managed in line with international environmental requirements, safeguarding them and protecting their diversity.

In March 2019, PEFC launched the ‘forest for fashion’ initiative, which builds transparency into textiles made from wood-based raw materials.

Regenerative Organic Certified was established in 2017 by a group of farmers, business leaders, and experts in soil health, animal welfare, and social fairness collectively called the Regenerative Organic Alliance, or ROA.

The Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS) is an international, voluntary standard that ensures alpaca wool is responsibly sourced from farmers with high animal welfare standards. Individual sites are certified by independent third-party certification bodies using annual audits. Materials are tracked (through chain of custody certification) from the farm to the final product using transaction certificates, following the requirements of Textile Exchange’s Content Claim Standard (CCS).
